I've been thinking a lot lately about the phrase научи меня мой господь and how very much weight those four simple words in fact carry once you prevent to really listen to them. It's among those expressions that seems deeply personal, like a whispered key between a person and the universe. In English, it translates to "Teach myself, my Lord, " but there's some thing about the tempo of the authentic Russian that feels a bit more urgent, a bit more grounded in the reality to be human and, frankly, being the little bit dropped sometimes. ...
